Company Introduction

Prometheus Sailing is the proactive yacht administration company behind the Prometheus Sailing UK fleet of charter sailing yachts. Led by MD Simon Boulding together with his highly skilled group, who between them have more than 90 years experience at running highly professional:

- yacht charters
- flotilla sailing
- corporate racing events
- RYA sea school training

Having actually headed up Sunsail's Port Solent based operations for 7 years, Prometheus Sailing was established in 2021 as the moment was right for the team to take control of ownership and administration of the fleet.

Our name Prometheus Sailing was inspired by the Greek god Prometheus. His duty in Greek mythology was to bring expertise and civilisation to mankind.

We operate the largest sailing school in the UK, educating lots of people to sail each year. Additionally we introduce and show many people to take pleasure in sailing through our corporate sailing activities. From this our company name was born.
